Partner Program Terms

Last updated version 2026-10-23

These terms govern the Curbellas cash commission partner program. They apply only to partners whose application has been approved by Curbellas and who have accepted these terms in their partner dashboard. They are separate from the Terms of Service that apply to every customer.

1. Separate from the customer referral program

The partner program pays cash commissions to approved partners. It is separate from the customer referral program (“Billing & referrals”), which rewards paying customers with free months. A customer can be credited to only one program: if a customer is referred through the customer referral program, no partner commission is earned on that customer.

2. Commission

  • Partners earn a 20% recurring cash commission on the eligible net subscription revenue Curbellas actually collects from customers attributed to them, for as long as the customer keeps paying and the partner remains in good standing. Every commission is subject to Curbellas approval, to reversal for refunds and chargebacks, and is paid out manually (see sections 5 and 6).
  • Net collected revenue is the amount the customer actually paid on a subscription invoice, minus sales tax / VAT and payment processing fees. Discounts and coupons are already excluded because only the amount actually paid counts.
  • No commission is earned on free trials, $0 invoices, failed or unpaid payments, account credits, or any amount that is later refunded or charged back.
  • Commissions are calculated and paid in US dollars and rounded down to the cent.

3. Attribution

  • Each partner receives a unique referral link (for example https://curbellas.com/?via=YOURCODE).
  • Attribution is first touch: the first partner link a visitor uses is the one that counts, and it is never replaced by a later link.
  • The attribution window is 60 days from the visitor's first click to the creation of their Curbellas account. Accounts created after the window are not attributed.
  • Once attributed, the customer stays attributed to that partner for the life of their account. Existing paying customers cannot be attributed retroactively.
  • The referral is remembered in the visitor's browser only with their consent. A visitor who declines, clears their browser, or switches device may not be attributed; Curbellas does not guarantee attribution in those cases.

4. Prohibited conduct

  • Referring yourself, your own accounts, or accounts you control (self-referral).
  • Creating fake, duplicate or incentivised sign-ups, or using stolen payment methods.
  • Spam, misleading claims about Curbellas, or impersonating Curbellas.
  • Forcing or hiding referral links (for example cookie stuffing or hidden frames).

Curbellas reviews referrals for these patterns. Commissions connected to prohibited conduct are reversed and the partner account may be suspended or terminated.

5. Hold period, approval and reversals

  • Each commission is pending for 30 days after the customer's payment, then becomes earned.
  • No commission is paid without Curbellas approval. Earned commissions are reviewed and, once approved, become payable.
  • Refunds reverse the commission in proportion to the amount refunded; chargebacks reverse the commission for the disputed payment. If a chargeback is later resolved in Curbellas' favour, the commission is restored for review.
  • If a commission was already paid when it is reversed, the amount is deducted from the partner's future payouts.
  • Cancellation stops future commissions for that customer; commissions on payments that were collected and not refunded remain payable.

6. Payouts

  • Schedule: Monthly. Commissions approved by the end of a calendar month are paid by the 15th of the following month.
  • Minimum payout: $50.00. Approved balances below the minimum carry forward to the next payout.
  • Payouts are sent manually by Curbellas (ACH, check, PayPal or wire) and recorded in the partner dashboard with a downloadable statement. Curbellas does not move money automatically.

7. Tax and identity requirements

  • Before any payout, partners must provide a completed tax form — IRS Form W-9 (US persons) or W-8BEN / W-8BEN-E (non-US persons) — and payout details that Curbellas has verified.
  • Curbellas requests tax forms and bank details through a secure channel. Never enter a Social Security number, tax ID or full bank account number in the partner dashboard.
  • Changing payout details requires re-verification before the next payout.
  • Partners are independent contractors and are responsible for their own taxes. Curbellas may issue tax forms (such as Form 1099-NEC) where required by law.

8. Suspension, termination and changes

  • While a partner account is suspended or terminated, no new commissions accrue and no payouts are made.
  • Curbellas may update these terms. A new version is shown in the partner dashboard and must be accepted before the next payout.
  • Partners may not make commitments on behalf of Curbellas. Nothing in this program creates an employment, agency or joint-venture relationship.
